DIGITAL PRODUCT TERMS & USAGE LICENCE
The Wall Habitat – Digital Product Terms
These terms apply to digital artwork and other downloadable digital products purchased from The Wall Habitat.
By purchasing and downloading a digital product from The Wall Habitat, you agree to the following terms.
1. DIGITAL PRODUCT ONLY
Where a product is identified as a Digital Download, you are purchasing digital file(s).
No physical print, frame or other physical product will be shipped unless you have separately selected and purchased a physical product option.
Product photographs showing framed artwork, furniture or room settings are for presentation purposes unless expressly stated otherwise.
2. WHAT YOU RECEIVE
The files supplied with each purchase are described on the individual product page.
Depending on the artwork, this may include multiple JPEG files, aspect ratios and print sizes.
Please check the individual product description before purchasing to ensure the supplied files are suitable for your intended print size.
3. PERSONAL USE LICENCE
Unless otherwise stated, purchasing a digital artwork grants you a personal-use licence.
You may:
- Download and store the files for your own use
- Print the artwork for display in your own home
- Print the artwork more than once for your own personal use
- Use a professional printing company to produce your personal copy
- Give a physical print you've produced as a personal gift, provided it is not sold
Your purchase does not transfer copyright or ownership of the artwork to you.
4. BUSINESS PREMISES
Where a product is specifically marketed as artwork for salons, offices, studios or other businesses, the purchaser may print and display the artwork within their own business premises, unless the individual product states otherwise.
This permission is for decorative display only.
It does not give permission to reproduce the artwork for resale, merchandising, branding, advertising products, redistribution or other commercial exploitation.
5. YOU MAY NOT
Digital artwork purchased from The Wall Habitat may not be:
- Resold in digital form
- Resold as physical prints
- Shared with other people for them to print
- Redistributed or uploaded to file-sharing websites
- Given away as a digital file
- Sublicensed
- Included in digital bundles
- Used to create products for resale
- Used on merchandise for sale
- Uploaded to print-on-demand services for commercial sale
- Claimed as your own artwork or design
- Altered and subsequently sold or redistributed
- Used to create another digital product for resale
Purchasing a file does not grant commercial reproduction rights.
6. COPYRIGHT
All artwork, designs, graphics and digital files remain protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Copyright and other intellectual property rights remain with The Wall Habitat and/or the relevant rights holder, as applicable.
Purchasing a digital product grants only the limited licence described in these terms.
7. FILE SHARING
Digital files are supplied for use by the purchaser only, subject to the licence above.
Please do not forward, email, upload or otherwise distribute the files to friends, family members, businesses or third parties.
If another person would like to print the artwork for themselves, they should purchase their own copy.
8. PRINT QUALITY
Our digital artwork is prepared for high-quality printing at the sizes stated on the relevant product page.
For the best results, use the appropriate file for your required print dimensions.
We do not recommend enlarging artwork beyond the maximum size supplied because this may result in reduced image quality.
The Wall Habitat cannot control the equipment, ink, paper, settings or processes used by third-party printers or customers printing at home.
We therefore cannot guarantee identical results across different printing methods.
9. COLOUR VARIATION
Colours may vary between your screen and the final printed product.
Differences can occur due to monitor settings, device displays, printers, inks, paper types and printing processes.
Reasonable colour variation does not mean that the digital file itself is defective.
10. PERSONALISED DIGITAL PRODUCTS
Personalised digital products are created using information supplied by the customer.
Customers are responsible for checking that all names, dates, wording, spelling and other personalisation submitted are correct.
Personalised digital products are not instant downloads unless expressly stated otherwise.
Any estimated preparation or delivery time will be stated on the relevant product page.
11. DIGITAL DOWNLOADS — CANCELLATIONS, RETURNS & REFUNDS
ALL DIGITAL DOWNLOAD SALES ARE FINAL AND NON-REFUNDABLE ONCE THE DIGITAL FILES HAVE BEEN MADE AVAILABLE FOR DOWNLOAD OR ACCESSED.
Due to the digital nature of our products, digital downloads cannot be returned, exchanged or refunded once they have been supplied or made available to you.
Please review the product description, included file sizes, aspect ratios and other product information carefully before completing your purchase.
Refunds will not normally be provided for:
- Purchasing the wrong product or size
- Changing your mind after purchase
- Not having suitable software, equipment or printing facilities
- Problems caused by your printer or a third-party printing service
- Differences in colour caused by monitors, printers, inks or paper
- Failure to download or use the files after purchase
- Accidental purchases where the digital files have already been supplied
- A preference for a different design after files have been supplied
If you experience a genuine technical problem with a file supplied by The Wall Habitat, please contact us so we can investigate and, where appropriate, provide a replacement or corrected file.
Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or overrides any consumer rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under the laws applicable to your purchase.
PERSONALISED DIGITAL PRODUCTS
Personalised digital artwork is created specifically to the customer's instructions.
Once we have begun creating your personalised artwork, orders cannot normally be cancelled, changed or refunded, except where required by applicable law or where the product supplied is faulty or materially different from what was ordered.
Customers are responsible for checking all names, dates, wording, spelling and other personalisation before submitting an order.
Errors contained in the personalisation information supplied by the customer do not normally qualify for a refund.
If The Wall Habitat makes an error when reproducing the personalisation information supplied with your order, please contact us so we can correct the artwork.
12. THIRD-PARTY PRINTING SERVICES
You may provide your purchased digital file to a printing company solely for the purpose of producing permitted copies for you under this licence.
The printing company does not obtain any rights to retain, reproduce, resell or distribute the artwork for any other purpose.
The Wall Habitat is not responsible for the quality, service, pricing or fulfilment provided by independent third-party printing companies.
13. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Digital Product Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our products, services or applicable requirements.
The terms applicable to your purchase will be those in effect when your order is placed, except where a change is required by law.
