Our digital wall art allows you to purchase your favourite artwork, download the files and print them in the size and format that works best for your space.
There are no shipping fees and no physical product will be sent when you purchase a Digital Download.
What Is Digital Wall Art?
Digital wall art is artwork supplied as a high-resolution digital file rather than a physical print.
Once you've purchased an eligible digital artwork, you can download your files and choose how and where you'd like to print them.
You can:
- Print at home
- Use a local print shop
- Upload to an online printing service
- Choose your own paper and frame
- Print the artwork again for your own personal use
Please check each product listing carefully, as the exact files and sizes supplied may vary between designs.
What Will I Receive?
Unless otherwise stated on the individual product page, our standard printable wall art is supplied as high-resolution 300 DPI JPEG files suitable for professional-quality printing.
Many of our digital artworks include multiple aspect ratios, giving you a wide choice of print sizes.
2:3 Ratio
Suitable for sizes including:
4×6", 6×9", 8×12", 10×15", 12×18", 16×24", 20×30" and 24×36"
3:4 Ratio
Suitable for sizes up to:
6×8", 9×12", 12×16", 15×20" and 18×24"
4:5 Ratio
Suitable for sizes up to:
4×5", 8×10", 12×15" and 16×20"
ISO A-Series
Suitable for:
A5, A4, A3, A2 and A1
11×14"
A separate file is supplied for printing at 11×14 inches, where included with the product.
Important – Choosing the Correct File
For the best print quality, always use the file that corresponds with the size or aspect ratio you intend to print.
Files can generally be scaled down within the same aspect ratio while maintaining excellent quality.
We do not recommend enlarging a file beyond the maximum size supplied, as doing so may reduce image sharpness and overall print quality.
Do not stretch or distort the artwork to make it fit a different aspect ratio.
HOW TO PRINT YOUR ARTWORK
Option 1 – Print at Home
For smaller sizes, you can print your artwork using a good-quality home printer.
For the best results:
- Use high-quality matte, satin or fine art paper
- Select your printer's Best or High Quality setting
- Make sure the paper size matches your selected artwork file
- Select borderless printing where appropriate and supported by your printer
- Avoid automatically stretching the image to fill the page
Option 2 – Use a Local Print Shop
A local professional printer is an excellent choice if you'd like a premium finish or larger print size.
Simply provide the appropriate digital file and tell them your required finished size.
Depending on the printer, you may be able to choose from:
- Matte paper
- Fine art paper
- Photo paper
- Card stock
- Other specialist print finishes
Option 3 – Use an Online Printing Service
You can also upload your artwork to an online printing service.
Select your required print dimensions and upload the file that corresponds with the correct aspect ratio.
Before placing your print order, always check the printer's preview to ensure the artwork has not been unexpectedly cropped or stretched.
WHAT PAPER SHOULD I CHOOSE?
For artwork that closely resembles the look of our physical fine art prints, we recommend a high-quality heavyweight matte or fine art paper.
Matte paper is particularly effective for wall art because it produces a sophisticated finish with minimal glare.
The final appearance of your artwork can vary depending on the printer, ink, paper and finish you choose.
COLOUR DIFFERENCES
Please be aware that colours can appear slightly different when printed compared with how they appear on your screen.
Computer monitors, phones and tablets display colours differently, while printers, inks and paper types can also affect the final result.
Small variations in colour are therefore normal with digitally printed artwork.
FRAMING YOUR PRINT
Once printed, your artwork can be placed into a frame of your choice.
You can also use a mount/mat around your artwork for a more traditional gallery-style appearance.
Always check your chosen frame dimensions before ordering your print.
PERSONALISED DIGITAL ARTWORK
Personalised digital products work slightly differently from our standard instant downloads.
Where a product is described as a Personalised Digital Download, your artwork must first be customised using the information you provide.
This means personalised artwork is not an instant download.
The product page will explain what personalisation is required, which sizes are available and how your completed artwork will be supplied.
Please check all names, dates, spelling and other personalisation carefully before submitting your order.
